MARTIN ‘Sawing’ Editor

Getting started with modern setup and prep technology
Every T74 Automatic comes equipped with the MARTIN ‘Sawing’ Editor. This offers you an affordable way to get on board with modern setup and prep technology. The highly intuitive software helps the user to organise and manage everyday processes in his work preparation and setup with great efficiency. You can create the cutting lists you need for working with a sliding-table saw either by hand, with the MARTIN Editor, with CAD, or PPS (production planning system) or with trade-specific software.

Capturing, adopting and transferring
To avoid having to re-enter existing data into the machine in the workshop, this data can either be captured directly by the MARTIN Editor or be transferred into the Editor using the copy and paste functions. Now the data can be saved immediately and edited later if necessary before it is transferred to the T74 Automatic.

USB or data cable – whatever you need
The easiest way to transfer data to the machine is using a USB memory stick, the most comfortable way to manage data transfer is via the optional peer-to-peer interface T7485-a that comes with an expanded version of the Editor software. In both cases, the machine operator just has to select the required task and can then start cutting.

All the advantages at a glance
In the setup and prep feature the following tasks can be carried out quickly and easily:

• Creating and saving program banks
• Creating and saving tool banks (tool data)
• Exporting the banks to Excel
• Importing Excel files that correspond with the MARTIN file format
• Exporting/importing the data to/from a USB memory stick
